Qualitative Researcher
Job Summary
Responsabilities
- Partner with stakeholders (Creative Content Marketing Product & Sales) to scope questions finalise brief and agree on decisions the research will inform.
- Design & run qual studies end-to-end: In-depth interview (IDIs) Focus group discussion (FGDs) (in person/remote) workshops & other methodologies.
- Draft all core materials: recruitment screeners discussion guides and debrief reports.
- Conducting research across segments and markets: Should be comfortable conducting research projects globally and independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Analyse & synthesise messy qual data into sharp evidence-backed stories; translate learning into actionable insights.
- Own pre-launch creative testing (copy concepts claims) and spearhead other custom qual studies end-to-end. A functional mentor would provide necessary guidance wherever needed.
- Present the findings & provide actional feedback clearly to the stakeholders.
- Collaborate on mixed-methods when needed (basic surveys/analysis) and connect qual insights to quant data.
- Managing external vendors/research partners & ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Requirements
- 3 years hands-on customer research experience with a strong qual core (IDIs FGDs workshops etc.).
- Proven ability to draft all research materials (screeners guides reports) and run end-to-end projects independently.
- Is able to define clear research objectives audiences methods and deliverables
- Proven ability to handle multiple stakeholders
- Strong interest in understanding peoples motivations and behaviours.
- Excellent communication & storytelling: turning raw verbatim into crisp narratives and actionable insights.
- Able to connect with participants and interpret subtle behavioral or attitudinal cues.
- Comfortable exploring new methodologies digital tools and trends (e.g. AI) to enhance research quality.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast changing environment.
- Mixed-methods capability (questionnaire design & simple survey analysis).
- Some experience in analysing ads/campaigns (pre-test & post) and providing inputs to creative & content teams.
- Multi-market research exposure & can speak other languages like German & Arabic.
- Have prior experience working with a trading platform or banks
