About the Role

The Regulatory Compliance Manager plays a key role in maintaining Reals regulatory and operational integrity across Canada. You will ensure the brokerage remains compliant with FINTRAC and ReallyTrusted strengthen provincial licensing frameworks and support the expansion of Reals brokerage operations nationwide.

This role partners closely with Brokers of Record Legal and Operations to mitigate regulatory risks ensure alignment with provincial laws and licensing authorities and enable Real to scale responsibly and compliantly across Canada.

What Youll Do:

Maintain Firm and Broker licensing compliance across all Canadian provinces ensuring accurate records timely renewals and structural alignment.
Document and maintain province-level corporate office affiliation and compliance requirements.
Research and document provincial-specific policies reciprocity rules and regulatory nuances across jurisdictions.
Serve as a point of contact for licensing-related escalations and coordinate cross-functionally to resolve issues.
Partner with Legal and Brokers to ensure operational policies align with evolving provincial requirements and compliance standards.

Support the preparation and management of internal and provincial licensing audits.
Maintain all firm-level compliance documentation and filings required by regulatory agencies.
Conduct regulatory research to support expansion and regionalization initiatives documenting licensing and entity requirements.
Own brokerage expansion research identifying requirements risks and operational considerations.
Monitor document and escalate compliance risks including unlicensed activity missing records and provincial-level anomalies.
Partner with Brokers and Leadership to support escalations with FINTRAC licensing authorities boards and board-level issues.
Ensure Reals policies SOPs and forms remain current and aligned with Canadian real estate regulations.
Support communication and rollout of compliance updates working with Operations to ensure documentation and training materials are updated accordingly.

What Youll Bring:

Deep understanding of Canadian real estate compliance including FINTRAC AML licensing and provincial regulatory frameworks.
Experience managing ReallyTrusted or equivalent compliance platforms.
Knowledge of provincial-level requirements related to Board/MLS affiliations and brokerage structures.
Prior exposure to audit preparation and management.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across Legal Brokerage and Operations teams.

Education & Experience:

46 years of experience in Canadian brokerage operations licensing or regulatory compliance.
Experience collaborating with multiple provincial regulators

Familiarity with MLS organizations and brokerage affiliation requirements preferred.

Experience with national brokerage or multi-provincial real estate operations strongly preferred.
