The position

As our Transportation Team Lead you need to manage all Inbound & outbound shipments in a safe and cost-effective way with good service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• SHE Quality & Security Compliance
• Ensure compliance with company SHE Manufacturing Quality and Security requirements; the requirements of ISO 9001 IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 RoHS REACH GMP AEOISO17025 ISCC and LHRÐ Management Systems.
• Manage all Inbound & Outbound shipments execution in Jiangyin site at expected service level.
• Manage drop shipments via Envalior (Singapore) to Asia Pacific customers.
• Ensure all the Inbound & Outbound transportation comply with AEO trade safety requirements
• Manage the performance of transportation service providers. Collaborating with sourcing team on freight tender vendor selection and evaluation
• Monitoring performance and ensuring KPI targets are reached
• Cost control and optimizations. Continuous process optimizations within China and to/from other global sites
• Ensure all logistics operations comply with government & Envalior SHE requirements
• Lead people development and skills improvements
• Responsible for transportation safety management. Report the severe incident immediately to the line manager if happened and follow up the actions required by high level.

• At least 5 years working experience in a managerial role in Logistics/supply chain in multi-national companies
• Solid and in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Logistics
• Proven experience in continuous improvement execution with lean/six sigma/TRACC methodology
• Good team and people management skills. A team player and builder.
• Written and conversational English at good level to enable working in a global organization.
• SAP application experience. Good data analysis both in mindset and technically.
• Self-motivated high resilience under pressure learning agility and willing to take extra responsibilities.
