As a Portfolio Manager you will lead the contract works and engineering underwriting activities and aspirations of the team.
The role embraces achievement of plans budgets and targets that align with the strategic goals and governance & compliance requirements of Suncorp New Zealand.
What youll do:
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that will deliver sustainable growth and profitability for Suncorp New Zealand.
Lead guide and manage Underwriting activities that deliver strategic outcomes.
Manage Product Offerings (policy terms and conditions) in the marketplace that provide superior solutions for all stakeholders.
Manager effective referral processes and relationships within the division and within wider Suncorp New Zealand providing technically expert and specialist underwriting solutions.
Contribute to implement monitor and report on financial plans and budgets.
Ensure the Division has excellent product and market knowledge.
What youll bring:
15 years senior industry experience
Strong portfolio management skills with the ability to identify market opportunities
Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence the direction of the portfolio
Ability to interpret and understand analytical data
Experience in leading project related delivery requirements and analysis
Strong leadership and change management skills consultation influencing and negotiation capability
The ability to provide sound business advice and provide mentoring/coaching to others
