Do you have affinity with power topics on a system level and do you get triggered by improving the systems energy footprint of Vanderlande and our customers Are you an analytical engineer with strong communication skills and a proactive mentality that likes to connect people Dont wait any longer and contact us now!
At Vanderlande we are committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2040. Therefore we want to improve our knowledge of our material handling equipment and complex dynamic systems to more accurately predict how much energy a system is going to use.
This enables our sales teams to create more competitive offers to our customers since energy consumption is a significant part of the OPEX (Operating Expenses) TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis and CO2 footprint calculations. It will also support sales and engineering to accurately calculate the power requirements for a new site which is another significant investment for our customers that we dont want to overestimate.
Next to these benefits more knowledge about system energy consumption can also help us to determine the most energy consuming elements in our systems. These insights will enable more energy efficient component and system designs and also provide opportunities to improve existing systems at customer sites.
