Job title: Account Handler Sports & Entertainment
Salary: 40000 - 45000
Location: London
PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are working with a Lloyds Broker who are looking to grow their entertainment team and are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their London team. The role offers the opportunity to work with a mix of clients across the sports & entertainment industry and provide high-quality account management technical support and administrative expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Account Executives with a full account management function
- Handle the administration of new and existing business
- Deal with a mix of Commercial risks including Commercial Combined Management Liability Travel Event Cancellation and Non-appearance policies.
- Process renewals MTAs and client enquiries accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluate and document processes for a varied client portfolio.
- Assist team members throughout the policy lifecycle to ensure exceptional client service.
- Maintain compliance with company and FCA regulations.
- Manage professional development through ongoing training and collaboration with your line manager.
DAY-TO-DAY
- Work closely with brokers and clients to manage insurance placements and renewals.
- Prepare and maintain accurate policy documentation and correspondence.
- Liaise with underwriters to ensure timely completion of quotations and endorsements.
- Ensure all records are updated in line with company procedures.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment supporting colleagues across the team division and company.
SKILLS
- Minimum of 5 years commercial insurance experience.
- Ideally have knowledge of a range of Commercial risks including Commercial Combined
- Knowledge of Acturis system is essential
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent organisational multitasking and time management skills.
- High attention to detail with proven operational and administrative experience.
- Ability to persuade negotiate and influence effectively.
