Position: Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Location: RIU Palace Phuket Mai khao Beach Phuket
About the Role
As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness comfort and guest satisfaction across all guest rooms and public areas. You will support the Housekeeping Manager in managing daily operations supervising the team and maintaining the brands excellence in presentation and hygiene.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a keen eye for detail strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences.
What Youll Do
- Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee housekeeping activities to ensure efficient service and adherence to RIUs cleanliness and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Assist in training coaching and motivating the housekeeping team to maintain high performance and morale.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure impeccable presentation.
- Inventory & Supplies: Manage and control housekeeping supplies linen and amenities ensuring cost efficiency.
- Guest Satisfaction: Address guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally to enhance overall guest experience.
- Administrative Support: Assist in scheduling performance reviews and reporting to the Housekeeping Manager.
What Were Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 24 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership communication and organizational abilities; attention to detail; ability to manage a diverse team.
- Education/Certifications: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Other Requirements: Flexible to work shifts weekends and public holidays.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Physically able to perform operational duties when required.
