Job Summary

Assignment description

Professional Galaxy is looking for a Backend Architect / Lead who can take lead in setting up the architecture of our backend systems and services.

The person needs to have a good experience in working with backend systems and orchestration services preferably in an e-commerce company.

The person needs to have a good understanding of architectural principles and architectural patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design scalable secure and high-performance backend systems.

Lead the rebuilding and modernization of systems into modern cloud-native architectures.

Define and enforce best practices in backend development

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product and business goals.

Evaluate and select appropriate technologies frameworks and tools.

Drive API design and integration strategies (REST GraphQL gRPC etc.).

Ensure systems are resilient fault-tolerant and meet SLAs.

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
