Senior Software Engineer Cloud Backend & Data Systems

What to expect:

As a Senior Software Engineer you will play a key role in designing building and operating cloudbased backend systems across energy connectedvehicle and datamanagement domains. Your work will span:

Cloud & Backend Development

• Design develop and operate scalable backend services and APIs
• Build microservicebased solutions using modern frameworks (Java//C# or Python depending on service area)
• Integrate devices such as wallboxes and energy systems into cloud platforms
• Implement eventdriven architectures using Kafka and related technologies
• Ensure system reliability observability and performance through monitoring logging and automated testing

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

• Work with AWS or Azure cloud environments container orchestration (Kubernetes ECS Fargate OpenShift) and IaC tools (Terraform)
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines automated deployments and secure runtime environments
• Apply cloudsecurity best practices in distributed systems

Data & Platform Engineering

• Build and optimize largescale data management systems
• Implement APIs and backend components for data ingestion storage and governance
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL DynamoDB Redis)
• Support AI/ML and analytics teams with reliable data infrastructure

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work in empowered agile DevOps teams with endtoend ownership
• Collaborate with product owners architects and crossfunctional teams across global locations
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
• Participate in technical design architecture discussions and longterm platform evolution

Who You Are:

You are an experienced backend or cloud engineer with a strong foundation in modern software development and a passion for building scalable secure and highimpact systems. You bring:

• 5 years of professional experience in backend or cloud development
• Strong skills in Java/Spring .NET/C# or Python
• Experience with cloud platforms microservices CI/CD and container orchestration
• Solid understanding of eventdriven architecture API design and distributed systems
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with monitoring observability and automated testing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in diverse crossfunctional teams
• A structured analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Fluency in English
