Behaviour Mentor requirements:
Proven experience supporting children or young people with social emotional and behavioural needs (in school youth work or mentoring settings)
Calm patient and emotionally intelligent with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively
Passionate about making a positive impact on childrens wellbeing and learning outcomes
Skilled at implementing behaviour intervention strategies and restorative approaches
Able to work collaboratively with teachers SENCOs pastoral staff and external professionals
Committed to promoting inclusion building trust and modelling positive behaviour
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor you will:
Work 1:1 and in small groups to support pupils in managing emotions and behaviour
Build positive relationships and provide consistent structured guidance
Help pupils re-engage with learning and develop strategies for long-term success
Support teachers in creating calm positive learning environments
