Job Summary
Were on a mission to become the UKs leading energy transition and utilities contractor.
As we grow were looking for a Procurement Manager to help shape and deliver our procurement strategy.
The role may lead a small team of procurement professionals collaborating with internal stakeholders and driving cost savings efficiency improvements and quality enhancements across the procurement function.
What Youll Be Doing
- Supporting the Head of Procurement in developing and executing procurement strategies.
- Leading and mentoring a team of procurement professionals.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Managing supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.
- Enhancing procurement systems and processes to boost efficiency and visibility.
- Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of purchase orders and contracts.
- Collaborating with Accounts Payable to streamline P2P processes.
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain ideally in a project-based environment.
- Strong leadership negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification (CIPS preferred).
