_{Position Summary:}

_{The Russian Nurse Instructor will lead training in-service education and competency evaluations for Home Care paraprofessionals (HHAs and PCAs) ensuring compliance with all Federal State City and Local regulations as well as agency policies and procedures.}

_{Key Responsibilities:}

_{Deliver classroom and lab-based training programs in compliance with NYS Department of Health standards.}
_{Develop teaching outlines and instructional methods including lectures demonstrations group training and multimedia tools.}
_{Conduct orientation refresher courses and ongoing development programs for HHAs and PCAs.}
_{Evaluate trainee competencies through skills assessments and standardized testing.}
_{Ensure clinical competence and regulatory compliance of paraprofessional staff.}
_{Prepare educational curriculum in collaboration with the Education Manager.}
_{Provide documentation and progress reports; maintain accurate and timely records.}
_{Assist with agency-wide in-service training programs.}
_{Supervise training staff if applicable.}
_{Support organizational compliance by completing all required trainings (e.g. HIPAA OSHA IT Security Sexual Harassment).}
_{Maintain professional conduct and appearance in accordance with agency standards.}
_{Perform administrative tasks and reporting using Microsoft Office tools.}

_{Qualifications:}

_{Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.}
_{Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and registration in New York State.}
_Experience:
- _{Minimum 1 year of home care experience (CHHA or LHCSA).}
- _{Experience supervising/training HHAs and PCAs in any healthcare setting.}
- _{Proven experience delivering HHA/PCATP training or in-service education.}
- _{Knowledge of care transition planning for home health settings.}
_Skills:
- _{Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).}
- _{Strong verbal and written communication.}
- _{Ability to deliver instruction to diverse learner groups in English and Russian.}

_{Requirements:}

_{Bilingual: Fluent in English and Russian.}
_{Must be approved by the NY Department of Health to teach HHA/PCA programs.}
_{Comfortable with both teaching and administrative duties.}
_{Willing and able to commute locally via public transportation.}
_{Valid drivers license and insurance (if applicable).}
