On Call Requirements: No On Call Position Summary: We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team in Robbinsdale MN. This role supports efficient patient flow and assists providers in delivering care across a wide range of age groups-from infants to geriatrics. The CMA focuses on collaborative delegated clinical and administrative tasks as defined by the Blaze Health Medical Assistant scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties: -
Perform standard rooming procedures

Administer immunizations injections and medications as directed

Collect laboratory specimens
-
Perform clinic-based lab tests and phlebotomy duties
-
Support x-ray procedures (if x-ray certified or willing to certify)

Assist with prescription refills and telephone communication with patients

Serve as liaison between patients and providers
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Administrative & Compliance: -
Maintain skill proficiency and complete required competencies

Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations
-
Report compliance concerns via established protocols
-
Participate in quality and regulatory processes
Required Qualifications: Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Required

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Required

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required

Passed x-ray operator exam or willingness to complete if required by clinic
