_{We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Monica CA. This role involves providing comprehensive perinatal care in a fast-paced patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing all stages of labor and delivery and comfortable floating to the postpartum unit when needed.}

_{Key Responsibilities:}

_{Deliver direct nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process}
_{Monitor maternal and fetal well-being including fetal heart rate monitoring}
_{Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections}
_{Float to postpartum and couplet care units as needed}
_{Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic EMR system}
_{Collaborate with physicians midwives and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes}
_{Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies}

_{Work Requirements:}

_{Must be available every other weekend}
_{No on-call required}
_{Must float to postpartum unit as needed}
_{First-time travelers not accepted}
_{RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with the profile}

_{Qualifications:}

_Education:

_{Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing}

_Experience:

_{Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience}

_{License & Certifications:}

_{Active California RN license Required}
_{BLS & NRP Required (may be assumed standard for L&D roles confirm with the client)}

_Skills:

_{Proficient in fetal heart rate and high-risk pregnancy monitoring}
_{Experience with C-sections and vaginal deliveries}
_{Strong postpartum and couplet care skills}
_{Excellent communication and teamwork abilities}
_{Proficient in Epic charting}
