The Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy/GI unit is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This includes assisting with procedures such as Per UD EUS EBUS ERCP ION Colonoscopy and Bronchoscopy. The role requires on-call responsibilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Location:Anchorage Alaska United States
Responsibilities:
- Assist with endoscopic procedures including Per UD EUS EBUS ERCP ION Colonoscopy and Bronchoscopy.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic.
- Respond to on-call duties as required.
- Assist with endoscopic procedures including Per UD EUS EBUS ERCP ION Colonoscopy and Bronchoscopy.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Alaska RN license in hand for Auto Offer.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Endoscopy/GI nursing.
- Skills in Per UD EUS EBUS ERCP ION Colonoscopy and Bronchoscopy.
- Active Alaska RN license in hand for Auto Offer.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- SGNA certification.

Special Considerations:
- On-call required every 5th weekend.
- Limited RTO: Only 1 time off request per 13-week assignment of 5 days or less. No holiday RTO for Auto Offer.
- The clinician will not float outside of their scope to meet facility needs.
- Candidates permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.

Scheduling:
- 4x10 Days (40Hrs)
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1 10-hour shift per 2 weeks
- Open to accommodating block schedule.
