The MedSurg ICU Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical and ICU departments. This role involves patient assessment medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The nurse must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to varying patient acuity levels.

Location:Centralia Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the MedSurg ICU.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in EPIC.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies.
- Float between similar units as needed.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the MedSurg ICU.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in MedSurg or ICU.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with EPIC charting.

Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to work night shifts.
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- Must be able to float between similar units.
- Travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility may not be eligible for a travel contract.

- 36 or 48 hours per week.
