Job Summary:

The Senior Developer role in Austin TX involves enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class applications on the JEE application development platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in both front-end/UI and server-side/web services development with a strong focus on implementing SPAs using Angular TypeScript and RESTful services security.

Responsibilities:

- Develop enhance and maintain enterprise-class applications on the JEE application development platform.
- Implement SPAs using Angular TypeScript framework.
- Implement RESTful services security using JWT OAuth and other related technologies/standards.
- Develop self-contained reusable and testable modules and components.
- Implement best practices in application design performance scalability and maintainability.
- Integrate web services into Angular or React based SPAs.
- Implement client-facing applications with responsive design and development.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Hands-on experience in Front End/UI development.
- Hands-on experience in Server-side/Web Services development.
- 4 years of experience implementing SPAs using Angular TypeScript framework.
- 4 years of experience implementing RESTful services security using JWT OAuth and other related technologies/standards.
- Hands-on development experience implementing applications utilizing any JEE Application Server Authentication and Authorization Caching strategies.
- Hands-on programming experience in Java JEE REST/SOAP web services HTML5 JavaScript JQuery AJAX CSS3 Bootstrap SASS Typescript Spring Java Server Pages Struts JSON XML JWT Maven OpenAPI v3 OAuth.
- Experience implementing client-facing applications with responsive design and development.
- Experience in development of self-contained reusable and testable modules and components.
- Hands-on experience with Agile Development Methodologies (preferably Scrum).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience with integration of web services into Angular or React based SPAs.
- Experience implementing client-facing applications using JSP and Struts.
- Experience in implementing best practices in the areas of application design performance scalability and maintainability.
- Hands-on experience with JBoss or IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later.
- Hands-on development experience for mobile and tablet platforms.
