Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant to lead the migration from Ping Identity to Okta within a large-scale enterprise environment. This role requires deep hands-on technical expertise strong architectural knowledge and the ability to define and execute migration plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end migration from Ping Identity to Okta
- Develop detailed migration roadmap timelines and strategy
- Identify migration dependencies risks & mitigation plans
- Re-architect and configure identity integrations in Okta
- Recreate authentication authorization & federation policies
- Execute test plans for:
- User provisioning
- Authentication flows
- Access and security policies
- Ensure seamless cutover with minimal business disruption
- Work with cross-functional teams (security app owners engineering)
Required Skills & Experience
- 12 years of experience in Identity & Access Management
- Hands-on expertise with Ping Identity Suite:
- PingFederate
- PingAccess
- PingOne
- Strong experience implementing & managing Okta (Workforce or CIAM)
- Solid knowledge of:
- SSO / Federation (SAML OAuth OIDC)
- Directory & identity lifecycle management
- MFA adaptive authentication access policies
- Experience in large-scale IAM transformation/migration programs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills
- Okta Certification(s)
- Experience in hybrid cloud enterprise environments
Experience working with security teams and compliance frameworks
