Job Summary

Title: DevOps Engineer Specialist

Location: Plano TX (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Position General Duties And Tasks :

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)
Design deploy and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure (on-premises cloud or hybrid).
Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform Ansible or similar.
Monitor systems to ensure availability performance and security.
Automate repetitive tasks and improve CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development teams.
Manage cloud platforms (e.g. Azure GCP) including compute storage networking and security.
Maintain backup disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
Provide support for incidents root cause analysis and problem resolution.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering system administration or DevOps roles.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix and Windows-based systems.
Experience with cloud services (Azure GCP).
Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP DNS VPN firewalls).
Hands-on experience with scripting (Bash PowerShell etc.).
Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Familiarity with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
