Job Summary
Core responsibilities:
- Vehicle movement and organization:Moving vehicles to different locations on the lot such as from the service intake area to a technicians bay or into the display lot.
- Lot and service area upkeep:Keeping the service department and customer waiting area clean and organized.
- Customer interaction:Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner answering basic questions and sometimes driving customers to their homes or workplaces.
- Administrative support:Documenting vehicle information placing service tags and helping to prepare vehicles for customers by placing seat covers and floor mats.
- Assisting technicians:Providing support to service technicians as needed such as moving vehicles or retrieving parts.
Required skills and qualifications
- A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
- The ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is often required.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Good attention to detail for tasks like vehicle inspections and documentation.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
