The role is based out of Albany allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.
As a Service Desk Consultant you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service by assisting our clients with their inquiries and technical issues. You will work closely with our dedicated team to ensure that our customers receive timely and effective solutions. We offer a competitive salary range of $45000 to $85000 annually along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for customer inquiries and technical issues
- Respond to support requests via phone email and chat
- Document and track all interactions in the ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist in maintaining knowledge base and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved
- Participate in training and development opportunities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing or completed a degree in a related field is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with customer service principles and practices
- Basic understanding of IT and technical support concepts
- Proficient in using computers and common software applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
