1. Role Purpose
The Product Manager Operational Excellence (Internal Platforms) will lead the design
development and continuous evolution of internal digital products that enable
operational efficiency transparency and scalability across horizontal business functions
including Parts Operations Warehousing Finance HR and Support Services.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for internal operational
platforms across Parts Warehouse Finance HR and Support functions.
Identify opportunities for building fit-for-purpose internal products that simplify
workflows reduce dependencies and improve turnaround times.
Align platform initiatives with the overall Operational Excellence and Digital
Transformation roadmap for .
Drive the convergence of internal tools into a cohesive platform ecosystem ensuring
shared data models and consistent user experience.
B. Product Development & Delivery
Translate business pain points into scalable digital solutions leveraging low-code/no-code
tools custom app development and SAP-integrated extensions.
Work with internal developers UI/UX designers and external partners to design build
test and deploy internal applications.
Manage the full lifecycle of each product from ideation to rollout enhancement and
continuous improvement.
Prioritize user experience and adoption through intuitive design and responsive
performance across devices.
C. Cross-Functional Engagement
Partner with leaders across Parts Operations Warehousing HR Finance and Service to
capture use cases and define digital solutions.
Build strong interfaces with multiple digital touchpoints across the ecosystem
Coordinate across functions to eliminate redundancies standardize processes and ensure
digital tools complement business objectives.
D. Platform Governance & Integration
Establish governance frameworks for internal product lifecycle management including
backlog prioritization release management and documentation.
Ensure data consistency and security across integrated platforms through strong master
data and access controls.
Work with the Head of Data & Analytics to define reporting and monitoring dashboards
for each internal platform.
Foster interoperability across systems leveraging APIs RPA and automation connectors
to minimize manual intervention.
E. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Regularly assess system performance adoption and feedback to identify opportunities for
enhancement.
Introduce analytics-led performance insights and embed measurable KPIs into platform
dashboards.
Build reusable digital components (templates workflows APIs) to accelerate future
product rollouts.
Champion the culture of Build Measure Improve across internal digital initiatives.
Requirements
4. Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Business Systems.
MBA (Operations / Systems / General Management) preferred.
812 years of experience in Product Management Platform Ownership or Process
Digitization roles.
Proven experience in building internal digital tools or enterprise platforms within
manufacturing industrial or service organizations.
Experience integrating systems such as SAP WMS HRMS Expense Systems and Analytics
Platforms.
Exposure to Power Platform Low-Code Application Development or RPA solutions
desirable.
Track record of driving cross-functional adoption and measurable process improvement.
