DescriptionThis position is for an Engineering Program D&R engineer with IMG FCSD consumer service organization. You will manage all of the engineering deliverables CAD drawing / DVP&R / DFEMA / PFEMA / SCCAF / E108 / control plan for multimakes Ford/NON-Ford applications. The R&R also includes supplier assessment ATB/VOR support.
Responsibilities- Deliver all engineering requirements to support the launch of prioritized IMG Region Cycle Plan projects for multimakes Ford/NON-Ford applications.
- Develop specifications that meet market requirements and achieve a level of Quality expected of Ford Motor Company Motorcraft/Omnicraft service parts.
- Review and approve SREA (Supplier Request for Engineering Approval)
- Evaluate & identify potential suppliers. Conduct IMG supplier off-self products/engineering capabilities assessment.
- Lead product launches to fulfill engineering requirements for part launch (if applicable)
Coordinate & execute the drawing upload in Teamcenter
Ensure all DV & PV testing are completed in time & successfully
Coordinate with STA and supplier to signoff SCCAF (Special Characteristics Communication and Agreement Form)
Make sure parts to meet E108 compliance
Deliver ESO (Engineering sSgn Off) to achieve engineering complete status
- Partner with Marketing Purchasing Quality and Upstream organizations to deliver projects
- Support purchase team to proceed the TVM or resourcing actions by leading engineering activities
- Coordinate & communicate engineering activities between markets and central team.
Qualifications| Education Qualification | Bachelordegree in Engineering required MS degree preferred |
| No. of Years of Experience | 3-6 years. related work experience in the automotive industry |
| Professional Exposure(Technical Skills) | Strong knowledge related to engine. Program management skills. Able to handle several complex projects at the same time. |
| Preferred previous experiences | Automotive part engineering. Ability to read and interpret prints use engineering judgment and communicate with all activities. |
| Functional Skills | Strong powertrain background is manadatory analytical ability attention to detail ability to work across matrix organization able to support multiple projects simultaneously. |
| Behavioral Skills | Good English oral and written communication skills and other Asia Pacific language Good in interpersonal and communication skills with capability to work independently. Strong organizational skills. |
| Special Knowledge/Skills Required | Excellent in using Word Excel PowerPoint software. Ford Engineering Systems a plus |
