The Remote Data Entry Department Clerk is responsible for supporting Anytime Fitness operations by accurately entering updating and maintaining business membership and employee data across multiple systems. This role ensures that information is processed efficiently securely and in accordance with company standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented dependable and skilled at managing large volumes of information while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Management
Input verify and update member staff and operational data in databases and software systems (e.g. Club OS Mindbody ABC Fitness Solutions or internal CRM tools).
Maintain accurate digital records for memberships billing attendance and performance metrics.
Review and correct data discrepancies to ensure integrity and consistency.
Assist with generating and distributing department reports and analytics as requested.
Organize and archive digital documents for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
Clerical & Administrative Support
Support the administrative team with filing tracking and organizing electronic records.
Prepare spreadsheets reports and summaries for management review.
Communicate with club managers and staff to clarify or correct data inconsistencies.
Process digital forms contracts and membership updates efficiently.
Provide general clerical support to other departments when needed.
Compliance & Confidentiality
Ensure all data handling complies with Anytime Fitness policies franchise standards and privacy regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of all member and employee information.
Participate in data audits and assist with record verification when required.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree in business administration data management or related field preferred.
13 years of experience in data entry clerical or administrative roles (remote experience preferred).
Experience in the fitness service or franchise industry is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong typing and computer skills (minimum 50 WPM recommended).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Google Workspace and data entry platforms.
Familiarity with CRM or club management systems preferred (e.g. Club OS Mindbody or ABC Fitness Solutions).
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
High level of professionalism integrity and confidentiality.
Working Conditions
Fully remote position; requires reliable internet and a dedicated distraction-free workspace.
Standard weekday hours with some flexibility to support multiple time zones if needed.
Communication via email messaging platforms and virtual meetings with supervisors and club teams.
