As a Principal Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Accelerator you are the heart of this venture focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. Job responsibilities:
- Establish and refine SDLC (testing strategy automation CI/CD code quality gates) optimizing developer experience velocity and robustness
- Design a release strategy enabling frequent stable releases
- Define and evolve React Native / Expo mobile architecture for a massmarket consumer application
- Design and deliver a modular core platform enabling rapid reliable feature iteration.
- Recruit mentor and lead a lean highimpact engineering team
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on React engineering concepts and proficient expert experience
- Proven delivery of commercial React Native applications in production across Android & iOS at scale
- Deep understanding of React Native and Expo internals
- Latest knowledge of architecture tooling and best practices in mobile app development
- Mastery of TypeScript
- Experience optimizing large codebases
- Handson knowledge of mobile build & release systems
- Strong grasp of architecture patterns
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Published React Native app(s) in public app stores
- Native Kotlin and/or Swift experience
- Kotlin Multiplatform exposure
