Key job responsibilities
Own the setup and configuration of the servers that power eeros factories
Act as the liaison between eero manufacturing and eeros cloud in AWS connecting the factory and cloud infrastructure
Work closely with eeros manufacturing team to diagnose and resolve any issues that arise in our factory operations
Ensure that factory servers are kept up-to-date with operating system updates and software patches
Identify processes that require manual work and drive towards automated solutions
Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure that our factory lines stay up and running
Liaise with factories to resolve issues on the ground floor
About the team
The Infrastructure Engineer at eero is responsible for all of the servers and software needed to manufacture new eero devices and operate existing ones in the cloud. We are looking for the candidate to work closely with eeros manufacturing team and own the infrastructure on the ground floor of the factories. This role requires strong knowledge of administering Unix systems as well as strong networking fundamentals to connect the factories to the cloud. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take significant ownership of some of eeros most business-critical processes and ensure we can produce and deliver first-class products to our customers.
- Experience in automating deploying and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python Ruby Golang Java C C# Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience with networking fundamentals including hands-on experience with load balancers switches routers etc.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
