ASAPPs Generative Agent team is seeking an enterprising experienced and curious leader to help drive major technical initiatives and explorations. This role will be focused on leading multiple teams building core product capabilities including areas of observability of agentic systems designing and building feedback loops to improve agentic systems and techniques for diagnosing issues / optimizing prompt configurations.
Please note that this is a hybrid role with weekly in office responsibilities. We have offices in New York City and Mountain View.
What youll do
- Play a major role in leading teams and building products using the latest innovations around LLMs and agentic systems
- Work closely with teams across ASAPP including Product Research and Platform / Infrastructure
- Keep up with and apply the latest innovations from the NLP / Speech community that could impact our product
What youll need
- Proven technical leader with experience guiding engineering teams in innovation and product development.
- Strong engineering background with intermediate Python skills and familiarity with additional languages and open-source AI frameworks.
- Skilled in designing and implementing technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Experienced in building deploying and maintaining production-grade machine learning models.
- Track record of bringing cutting-edge innovations into real-world applications.
- Hold a Masters degree in a STEM field or at least 10-15 years hands-on experience building scalable enterprise software.
- Committed to continuous learning cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

$250000 - $270000 a year
Compensation is a combination of salary and performance bonus
Separately you will also receive an equity grant
