Job Summary

Portfolio Transition Management is the process of reallocating assets to new investment portfolios for pension plans and other institutional investors. The Senior Implementation Manager will face off with a range of key event stakeholders including clients consultants asset managers and custodians. The Senior Implementation Manager is expected to contribute at all stages of the portfolio transition event life cycle. Working in partnership with the event Strategist the Implementation Manager will oversee the event from pre-trade analysis client set up (account opening and portfolio list management trade execution post trade analysis and event close out.

The Senior Implementation Manager will be responsible for the more complex assignments with focus on multi-asset events (mostly fixed income and global equity) global markets and currencies.

Work Model: Hybrid

Major Duties:

• Coordinate across Operations teams and external custodian and their appointed teams
• Open account(s) on Bloomberg AIM (Our OMS/Portfolio system) and manage SSIs
• Works with investment managers to obtain portfolio lists
• Prepares the trade files and trade tickets
• Submit and route portfolio trades the trade desks
• Manage currency requirements for global trade settlement and submit FX trades
• Ensure account opening documentation is completed with client and internal onboarding
• Completing components of the checklist related to their duties
• Reconcile AIM accounts vs custodian records post trade
• Arrange securities transfers into and out of TM accounts with clients investment managers
• Leads conference calls with investment managers and custodians
• Manage futures trading with the TM strategist including margin monitoring
• Run post trade analysis and present to the client with the sales/RM team

Knowledge:

• Global Equities and fixed income product and markets knowledge usually acquired through related work experience is required to oversee the successful implementation of portfolio transition events.
• Communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholders and services are required to manage associate operational and implementation risks.
• Knowledge of operational aspects including position management trade preparation SSI set-up settlements and project management skills are required.
• Excel and related technical skills. Detail oriented approach is required.

Qualifications:

• Series 7 and 63 licenses are required or will need to be acquired within 90 days of employment.

Salary Range:

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
