Job Summary
The Put-Away Associate is responsible receiving and unpacking shipments of product verifying merchandise received against the order slip and stocking inventory for replenishment purposes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
This position is frequently supervised by the Receiving Supervisor.
Qualifications:
This position requires standing and light lifting (up to 50 pounds) for 80% of the day and stooping and heavy lifting for 20% of the day.

Job Summary
The Put-Away Associate is responsible receiving and unpacking shipments of product verifying merchandise received against the order slip and stocking inventory for replenishment purposes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse
- Verify inventory by comparing them to the shipping label and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse shelves.
- Clean and maintain supplies tools equipment and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors.
- Recommend disposal of excess defective or obsolete stock.
- Fill bin locations
- Conduct in moves using RF Gun
- Random checking of bin quantities
This position is frequently supervised by the Receiving Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Experience in the Receiving Department
- Safety
- Basic Math Skills
- Time management
- Willingness to learn computerized scanning device
This position requires standing and light lifting (up to 50 pounds) for 80% of the day and stooping and heavy lifting for 20% of the day.
