Shift: Evening Shift 3:00 PM 11:00 PM 8-hour shifts 3 shifts per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a long-term care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care support the healthcare staff and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

This role offers consistent evening shifts and the opportunity to make a difference in a supportive care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.

• Administer medications and treatments according to established guidelines.

• Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes to the supervising RN or physician.

• Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and respect.

• Maintain accurate medical records and follow facility protocols.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.

Requirements

• License: Active LPN or LVN license in the state of New York (or compact state).

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a long-term care or acute setting preferred.

• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

• Excellent communication teamwork and patient care skills.

• Must be reliable and professional; excessive tardiness or call-offs may result in early contract termination.

• Shift: Evening 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

• Days per Week: 3

• Hours per Shift: 8

• Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
