Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Day Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Departmentfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.

Responsibilities

Provide safe compassionate and evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
Perform assessments implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
Administer medications and manage critical care situations.
Float as needed to Pediatric ED and other emergency care areas.
Collaborate effectively with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.
Respond promptly to trauma alerts and emergency situations.
Uphold infection control and safety standards.
Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.

Qualifications

License: Active New York State RN license (in good standing).
Certifications: Current BLS (renewable). ACLS/PALS preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of recent ED or acute care experience within the past 2 years.
Preferred: Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Centers and familiarity with EPIC EMR.
