DescriptionThe Role
- Responsible for managing global benefits management (GBM) customer relationships in Health & Benefits
- Define the scope of the methodology and proposal preparation and consulting contracts.
- Work closely with Global Benefits team for deliverables and following global operating guidelines for the clients respectively
- Project management of GBM clients guaranteeing delivery on time within budget and with high quality
- Manage H&B vendor renewals and negotiations
- Design efficient plan designs and funding arrangements that fit clients needs
- Demonstrate proficient writing oral presentation skills in client reports recommendations and presentations
- Provide claims analysis reports including loss ratio frequency of the use member profile etc.
- Provide annual benchmarking comparison relating to H&B clients
- Internal system updates relate to benefits matters
- Analysis about the advantages and disadvantages of the plan funding model (insured or self-insured); development of performance indicators for monitoring results
- Legislative updates: communicate Human Resources team any changes in local laws related to group life insurance medical and dental benefits; and potential direct and/or indirect impacts on the companys current benefits programs.
- Support and participation in existing clients renewal or remarketing exercise which includes but not limited to the following whilst keeping Consultants abreast in overall progress:
- Work with consultants to design efficient plan designs that meets clients needs when required
- Prepare quotation slips based on clients needs and invite vendors to participate for remarketing when required
- Negotiate and secure competitive price with vendors
- Prepare report based on standard GBM templates
- Upon renewal instructions from clients prepare placement slips and send placement instructions to vendors

QualificationsThe Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in a Health & Benefits brokerage role
- Holds M5 M9 HI ComGI BCP PGI certifications
- Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues strong client service orientation
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively with a strong focus on customer service
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Deep knowledge of the Singapore vendor marketplace
- Technical proficiency in Singaporean employee benefits
- Broad understanding of compliance issues related to local legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word);
- Proficiency in English language
