We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology to join our clients team in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time ongoing position working core hours only offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
In Haematology you should ideally be proficient in blood film morphology with the flexibility to rotate into Full Blood Count (FBC) and Coagulation as Blood Transfusion familiarity with the Grifols Erytra platform is essential.
Experience with WinPath is required across both departments. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate analysis maintaining rigorous quality control standards and collaborating effectively with clinical teams to support patient care.
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Haematology or Transfusion within a clinical laboratory
- Experience in Morphology in Haematology or Strong Experience in Blood Transfusion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
