Performs intermediate technical and administrative work supporting department staff and is responsible for the successful oversight of operational support safety compliance and resource management to ensure the effectiveness and resiliency of personnel and equipment. This requires an individual capable of managing areas of logistics equipment supply management and facility support. Performs the role of a Fire/Rescue Captain on incidents as needed. This position is designated as essential during emergency or disaster situations. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Deputy Fire Chief of Support Services.
