Make an Impact by:
- Support Engineer for the Singtel TV broadcast systems for Singtel TV TV Go CAST Singtel Business TV Optus Sports and cross carriage services.
- Supports three broadcast data centres onsite/remotely.
- Service and system performance monitoring proactive and predictive.
- Service recovery of live services headend ingest and playout.
- Event management Major events (EPL FIFAWC EURO national significant broadcast event).
- Ops excellence IT Disaster Recovery Plan exercise IMDA regulatory compliance and Security audit compliance
- Managing live content/sports event acquisition via satellite fibre and IP delivery.
- Work closely with the project and operations teams; and external parties in problem troubleshooting and resolution.
- Perform system administration tasks such as system hardening patch installation and inventory.
- Create and updates technical reports and system documents.
- To always work safely complying with Singtel workplace safety and health policies
Skills for Success:
- Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
- 2 years experience in the broadcasting/media industry. Preferably working as Support Engineer.
- Good knowledge and experience in:
- Headend System Operation and Support.
- Ingest and playout systems.
- Media asset management system.
- IT security compliance
- Experience in networking preferably CCNA certified.
- Able to work independently at the same time a team player
- Able to work under pressure and has good problem-solving skills
- Flexible with work time (To work on 12-hour shift weekends and public holidays).
- Able to do cabling work such as laying of cabling fabrication of video/network cables.
