We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $30 billion dollar investment program over the next 10 years to build maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.
About the Project Engineer roles:
The Project Engineer will provide engineering support to the Project Manager in the delivery of construction activities. This includes resolution of technical issues monitoring of quality oversight of hold points and facilitation of handover and commissioning relating to a contract package of works within a project
About you:
- Previous engineering experience in construction engineering firm operations focused
- Demonstrated experience in managing the construction activities of medium to large risk/complexity infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience in managing project commissioning and acceptance
- Working experience in Mechanical or Electrical engineering disciplines will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in project handover including collation and verification of all project deliverables
- Demonstrated experience in managing defect identification and resolution
- Demonstrated experience in project closeout
- Developed skills in all facets of engineering construction
- Effective oral and written communication skills including proven ability in preparation of written reports procedures project communication plans recommendations and proposals
- Developed skills in interpretation and project objectives schedules risk management plans and cost management
- Ability to problem solve engineering issues
