CNA (FULL-TIME 40 HRS (MON-FRI) MARIETTA HIRING QUICKLY

The primary function of this role is to provide Personal Care Assistance - or Direct Support and related services to the individual in their home. These tasks include: 

• Assisting with household chores ( cleaning changing linens trash disposal)
• Assisting with bathing and hygiene
• Assisting with toileting
• Assisting with exercise or ambulation if needed
• Assisting with activities of daily living( personal grooming and dressing)
• Assisting with grocery shopping
• Assisting with preparing meals and snacks
• Assistance with reminders and monitoring medication
• Assist with scheduling appointments
• Assist with transporting 

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED
• First Aid and CPR certification
• CNA/ PCT certification preferred
• Must be very familiar with and previously trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
• Must be very familiar and efficient with working with individuals with behaviors.
• Must have at least three(3) years of  RECENT experience in a health-related field day program services home health care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Must be able to provide references and contacts of previous employers.
• Above average communication skills: oral and written
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to transport individuals as needed
• Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
• Must be able to pay attention to detail and report adequately.
• Must be willing to write/type documentation
• Must be familiar with Therap documentation system
• Must be creative and willing to think outside the box
• Must have the ability to utilize effective decision-making
• Must be able to  work cooperatively with individuals and their family
• Must be able to follow procedures and emergency protocols properly
• Must be willing to complete FBI- Background check it will be required through the GA Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities if offered the position 
• Must be willing to complete a TB test/ Physical
• Must possess a valid drivers license and insurance and be willing to provide a Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must be willing and able to follow ALL COVID-19 guidelines in accordance with recommendations from the CDC and the policies of GA DBHDD

THIS IS A FULL TIME  POSITION; IDEAL CANDIDATES SHOULD BE NEAR THE AREA AND AVAILABLE CONSISTENTLY SHIFT HOURS ARE

Monday- 10:00am - 9:00pm

Tuesday -Split Shift -9:30am-12:00pm 5:30pm-9:00pm 

Wednesday -10:00am - 9:00pm

Thursday - Split Shift -9:30am-12:00pm 5:30pm-9:00pm 

Friday- Split Shift - 9:30am-12:00pm 5:30pm -9:00pm

MUST HAVE A VALIDS DRIVERS LICENSE AND WILLING TO DRIVE

MUST BE WILLING TO WORK THE ABOVE SHIFT HOURS

MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW PROCEDURES AND POLICIES OF THE AGENCY 

MAY BE REQUIRED TO TAKE COVID TESTS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL INDIVIDUALS SERVED AND EMPLOYEES
