If youre passionate about high-voltage automotive electronics and want to help shape the next generation of safer smarter battery systems this is the role for you. - Join our HWElectronicsPeSURBOX Development team as a Senior Hardware Engineer focused on safety-critical high voltage battery management systems (BMS) for automotive production.
- Lead the development and evaluation of advanced electronics circuits for BMS balancing safety reliability and performance across series production.
- Own the hardware aspects of BMS design from concept through validation ensuring robust hardware design that meets automotive standards.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with design simulation manufacturing and safety teams to align on requirements decisions and risk mitigation.
- Establish and uphold technical ownership and high engineering standards within the BMS hardware team.
- Contribute to design reviews documentation and process improvements to enable scalable compliant BMS solutions.

- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.

Must have technical skill | - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive electronics design experience with a focus on Battery Management Systems at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
- Proven track record in developing electronic systems for automotive series production and ensuring compliance with automotive standards.
- Expertise in circuit design and analysis with hands-on experience in BMS-specific control circuits.
- Mandatory proficiency in PCB design tools especially Altium.
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools (e.g. LTspice Matlab) and a solid understanding of component selection for safety-critical automotive applications.

Good to have Technical skills | - Experience with BMS functional blocks such as cell monitoring protection balancing fault detection and state estimation.
- Knowledge of safety-related standards and processes applicable to automotive electronics (e.g. ISO 26262 IPC guidelines).
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing EMI/EMC considerations and power electronics paradigms relevant to high-voltage systems.
- Familiarity with automotive data interfaces and power management architectures.
- Experience supporting transition of hardware designs to production and working with suppliers for first/second source components.
