Were looking for a safety leader who can build strong relationships provide training and ensure compliance with OSHA DOT FMCSA EPA and other regulatory requirements.
What Youll Do
- Develop implement and promote safety programs across all locations.
- Conduct facility and fleet safety inspections audits and risk assessments.
- Lead accident and incident investigations including root cause analysis.
- Train and engage employees in OSHA DOT and Hazmat safety requirements.
- Maintain driver qualification files permits and fleet compliance records.
- Monitor and enforce DOT/FMCSA regulations including Hours of Service.
Partner with management to identify risks track safety performance and drive
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- 5 years of health & safety or DOT compliance experience (transportation or manufacturing industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of OSHA DOT/FMCSA and environmental regulations.
- Proven experience in safety audits training and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance software (e.g. TenStreet).
- Ability to travel regularly between retail and retread facilities.
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
