Job Summary

The Funding Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring loans are promptly received and assigned to a Funding Specialist in a timely manner for review. They will be responsible to effectively and efficiently communicate and coordinate with multiple internal and external parties to ensure loans are funded as scheduled across multiple channels and products.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Prepare and submit daily wire requests to accounting department for loan fundings
  • Coordinate and communicate daily fundings directly with accounting department and warehouse banks for HELOC loans
  • Assign and monitor HELOC loans scheduled to fund to ensure timely review and escalate issues to management as needed
  • Communicate with title companies and partners to obtain closing packages in a timely manner for multiple channels and products
  • Assign files to a Funding Specialist based on priority product channel and availability etc
  • Communicate with management of any potential delays that could result in files not being funded or purchased as scheduled
  • Receipt in new loans and upload documents to ICE for indexing
  • Manage Funding Department inbox including answering general funding questions looping in assigned Funding Specialist and escalating to management when necessary
  • Maintain thorough and organized logs of loan files
  • Review daily Funding Reconciliation Log to maintain data integrity

 

 


Qualifications :

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Attention to detail self-motivated takes initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Elevated level of integrity and trust
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel MS Outlook and the ability to learn new software
  • Detail-oriented individual with good organizational ability
  • This position is in office reporting to our Paramus NJ location
  • Hours are 8:30-5:00 PM EST with extended hours required during month end

  • Target base salary range is 43K- 48K which is based on various factors including skills and work experience.
  • In addition to base salary this role is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program via monthly production bonus that is based on individual performance.
