Job Summary
Required Qualifications
Applicants must be proficient writers who are able to discuss writing concepts and strategies with students and must have obtained a grade of B or above in previous writing-intensive courses. Must be a current UNF student at the sophomore level or above with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must have knowledge of writing techniques and approaches. Must obtain and provide TWO (2) recommendations from UNF faculty (these can be submitted separately via email or in-person to the hiring official). Applicants must be enrolled in either SIX (6) undergraduate hours or FOUR (4) graduate hours of course work (spring and fall semesters) and in either FOUR (4) undergraduate hours or THREE (3) graduate hours of course work (summer semester).
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of major citation styles: APA MLA Chicago. Knowledge of and/or experience with writing in different genres especially technical writing writing for social sciences and writing for natural sciences. Successful completion of general education writing courses or have completed at least TWO (2) ENC courses or equivalent experience.
