As an Engineer you understand the latest developments in cloud and hardware technology. Customer-oriented you will further develop the hardware architecture of our Open Telekom Cloud platform.

Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyperscalers cloud backend
Driving new feature deployment and problem-solving to enable higher customer satisfaction

Qualifications :

Qualifications

Completed studies in a technical engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training.
3-5 years of professional experience in multi-cultural IT with a focus on various cloud and data centers.
Be able to identify issues on Linux based systems and solve them with standard linux tools
Integrating those solutions into automation frameworks for scaling effects
Thorough understanding of how openstack works including compute storage network (for example the process of ECS instance creation)
Comprehensive knowledge of components adjacent to Openstack (for example IAM solutions API Gateways etc)
Knowledge of agile processes.
Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with new creative solutions.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Open Mindset working in squads.
Jira and Confluence (Atlassian software) experience in ticketing and documentation tools are nice to have.
