Job Summary
This role supports the execution of Front Office Global Markets operations including monitoring liquidity and cash flows executing transactions preparing MI and presentations and building and maintaining banking and broker relationships.
Role Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day Financial Markets activities including analysis of trade pricing and client data.
Support and maintain administrative documentation and governance processes and procedures in line with Policy requirements.
Maintain and improve controls systems and processes.
Support FX and Treasury product development design and documentation and implementation of next generation product suite for Financial Markets.
Identify escalate and mitigate business risks in collaboration with Commercial Risk that could impair our ability to do business.
Ensure compliance with PRA/FCA and other regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain knowledge of market data economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards to assist in maximising profitability through sound business decisions.
Work collaboratively with product development technology operations and business heads on strategic projects
Activities will include accurately entering FX trades Fixed Term Deposits and other short-term instruments into the trading system in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
- Educated to degree level or relevant experience.
- CISI qualifications advantageous technical training support will be provided to meet requirement for certification.
Experience:
Up to 2 years of relevant experience working in a financial institution.
Computer literacy essential
Analytical skills and ability to evaluate critical information accurately and report the findings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with additional languages advantageous
Ability to identify and implement best-practice operations and solutions.
Applying initiative strategic mindset entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking for innovation and process improvement.
Ability to develop strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions and stakeholders.
High ethical standards.
Self-motivated with demonstrable experience of handling multiple priorities and meeting aggressive timelines.
