We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Revenue Management to join our team in Mumbai India. As a key member of our leadership team you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue optimization strategies across all revenue streams ensuring maximum profitability and sustainable growth for our organization.
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize profitability across all revenue streams
- Lead and mentor the revenue management team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making
- Analyze market trends competitor activities and economic factors to inform pricing and distribution strategies
- Collaborate with sales marketing and operations teams to align revenue management initiatives with overall business objectives
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of revenue management systems and tools
- Produce accurate forecasts and reports to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation
- Chair regular revenue management meetings to ensure alignment and accountability across departments
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including ownership groups and external partners
- Continuously evaluate and optimize distribution channels and online presence to maximize revenue
- Drive innovation in revenue management practices staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging new technologies
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and prepare long-range financial projections
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies while maximizing revenue opportunities
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Finance Accounting Mathematics or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Revenue Management within the hospitality industry
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members
- Proficiency in revenue management systems (e.g. IDeaS G3 RMS Opera PMS) and data analysis tools
- In-depth knowledge of pricing strategies yield management and distribution channels
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting and budgeting
- Thorough understanding of the hospitality industry market trends and competitive landscape
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing market conditions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with online marketing and e-commerce strategies in the hospitality sector (preferred)
