Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing scalable cloud environments implementing DevOps pipelines and ensuring high availability and security of applications deployed on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
Design implement and manage scalable secure and highly available AWS infrastructure using services like EC2 ECS EKS S3 RDS Lambda and CloudFormation.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
Monitor system performance and availability using CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana or similar tools.
Implement security best practices including IAM policies VPC configurations and encryption standards.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and troubleshoot environment issues.
Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
Perform cost optimization and resource utilization analysis across AWS services.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
59 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure design.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or Shell.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch ELK Stack Prometheus).
Experience with version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.
Understanding of networking concepts security protocols and cloud governance.
Preferred Skills:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect certification.
Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.
