Job Summary
You may have been working as a Senior Software Engineer in Test Senior Test Engineer or Test Analyst who is confident in their ability performing automation testing. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests using various tools for client applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Test creation execution defects retests sync with BAs for requirement clarity.
- Representing team in all scrum meetings and own the discussion.
- Participate in sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospective meetings.
- Understand and execute test strategies and test plan.
- Integration and Data layer testing as part of ETL.
- E2E system testing by covering all flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Reviewing test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards.
- Providing test estimates
- Build automation using selenium Java OR any industry standard tool.
Qualifications :
- Total 5-7 years of manual Automation QA experience out of which 2 years of hands on working experience in automation.
- Working in Agile and deep understanding of Agile working and understanding of agile terms (Velocity Burndown Scrum Sprint Product backlog and Sprint Backlog Retro story points etc)
- Very good understanding of ETL processes and data layer verification.
- Working knowledge with Databricks Notepads and Power BI.
- Strong testing concepts in different types of testing their dependencies and stages.
- Demonstrated experience of Automated Quality Assurance: Deliver overnight cross-browser functional non-functional API integration and acceptance tests.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins CircleCI).
- Experience in Test scope understanding Test UserStory/Task/subtask creation
- Experience in Test case review and automation code review
- Good understanding of web technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and RESTful APIs.
- Delivered front end cross-browser automated functional testing exploratory systems integration and user acceptance testing.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins CircleCI).
- Confident with building and maintaining frameworks in one or more of these languages: Java JavaScript Python or C#
- Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium WebDriver JUnit).
- Any performance testing experience or other non-functional testing experience would be added advantage.
- Testing Tools and Technologies: Appium Docker Kubernetes Postman Jenkins Java Eclipse / IntelliJ IDEA Linux TestNG Selenium SQL
- Very good Database testing experience writing queries views joins etc..
