Job Summary

Maybury is looking for a motivated team player to be a Class A CDL Delivery Driver to support our delivery department in delivering and picking up forklifts and other equipment at our customer locations in the local area. This is a dual-role where the individual will also perform service work in our Service Shop in East Longmeadow MA on customer and Maybury-owned forklifts sweeper scrubbers scissor lifts and other similar equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

The Service Technician responsibilities of this position will include prepping rental equipment for customer use; charging and maintaining industrial forklift batteries assisting with maintenance and repair of equipment and participating in special projects.

The CDL Class A Driver responsibilities of this position will be to travel to customer locations to deliver and pick up forklifts sweeper/scrubbers scissor lifts utility vehicles conveyors mezzanines and other equipment. This will include loading and unloading box trucks and flatbed trailers; securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
Must have a valid CDL A license with a minimum of 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience and satisfactory driving history. Must be willing to complete Class A Hazmat certification. Forklift operator experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude required and experience as an auto/diesel mechanic or similar position preferred.
Some job assignments may require flexibility in working hours.
Intermediate Windows email and internet skills as well as great customer service skills.
Must be able to drive for extended periods of time and move or lift up to 50 lbs.
