Job Description

I have a client located in Greenville South Carolina that is looking to bring on a Mechanical CAD Designerto support their mechanical and plumbing engineering design operations.

This person will work directly with the engineering team to produce and update detailed AutoCAD drawings for commercial HVAC piping and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting experience attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering sketches and convert them into precise construction documents. Experience with Revit is a plus but not required.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the chance to grow long-term within the company. Once hired on employees receive 100% employer-paid health insurance 401(k) with company match bonus eligibility and half-day Fridays.

Location: Greenville SC (on-site)
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Fridays end at noon)

Requirements:

3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience (mechanical MEP or similar field)
Ability to create and modify HVAC and plumbing drawings from engineer redlines or sketches
Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and construction documentation
Detail-oriented with excellent organization and communication skills
Revit experience or willingness to learn is a plus
Associates degree or technical certification preferred but not required
