The Economics Programme under the School of Social Sciences (SSS) consists of 29 full-time faculty members and offers degrees at the undergraduate MSc and PhD levels. The Programme has established recognised strengths inapplied economics and behavioural economics alongside core areas of econometrics macroeconomics and development. Faculty members regularly publish in leading international journals engage in interdisciplinary collaborations and contribute to policy debates in Singapore and beyond. NTU Economics hosted the 2023 Asian Meeting of the Econometric Society the primary Asian meeting selected by the Asian Regional Standing Committee of the Econometric Society.
Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Economics of Health and Aging
The School of Social Sciences at NTU has one opening for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position in Economics of Health and Aging. Strong candidates in this field will be considered.
Selection will be based on evidence of potential for high-quality research and teaching. Relevant post-doctoral experience will be given consideration. Candidates should possess or expect to obtain a PhD degree by August 2026.
The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels including General Education courses as well as supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects.
