We are seeking aDevEx Engineerto join our Platform Engineering focus of this role is todevelop and maintain our Backstage-based developer portalandstreamline developer toolingto improve the overall developer experience across the be hands-on with core tools likeTerraform GitHub AWS and Datadog ensuring our engineers have a reliable secure and frictionless platform to build on.

Lets get to work! What youll be doing

• Build extend and maintain our developer portal on suingBackstageto provide a unified and intuitive entry point for developers.

• Design implement and manage infrastructure usingTerraform ensuring scalability security and consistency.

• Administer the GitHub environment and create and maintain building blocks (GitHub Actions) to reduce the cognitive load on developers.

• Support and improve Azure and AWS-hosted services and infrastructure that underpin developer-facing platforms and tools.

• Integrate and leverage tools likeDatadogto improve visibility reliability and performance.

• Participate in a sharedHero of the Week assisting teams with platform-related issues and helping them to be self-sufficient. It also involves an on-call rotation.

• Partner with engineering teams to understand developer pain pointsand contribute to documentation best practices and knowledge sharing.

In addition you bring:

• Strong hands-on experience withTerraform(infrastructure automation) andGitHub(source control workflows CI/CD).

• Experience working withcloud services likeAWS & Azure.

• Proven ability to build or improvedeveloper tooling and platformsin a collaborative environment.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to support and enable developers across teams.

• Familiarity withobservability tools likeDatadogor other tools like it.

• Familiarity with modern software development practices and standards and experience with or Python.

You can count on:

• A gross monthly salary between 5700 and 7300 (based on a 40-hour workweek).
• An annual bonus of up to 7.5% of your yearly salary based on company performance.
• 30 vacation days with the option to buy or sell extra days plus 8% holiday allowance. Youll also build your pension through the Food Industry Pension Fund.
• Travel allowance of 0.21 per kilometer (up to 35 km one way). We love working together at our HQ but you can also work partly from home.
